The 8th-Grade Dance is always the hit of the Spring for the 8th-grade class. It’s important to remember that while this is a “dressy” dance, it is not a prom. Dates are not required, limousines are frowned upon, the girls don’t need special hair and nail appointments, etc. Like all school events, the children’s attire must adhere to the school dress code. That means no strapless or gowns with straps on the girls, no “sagging” pants on the guys.
The dance committee is made up of parents of 8th-grade students. The committee sets the theme of the dance and decorates the venue, as well as coordinates the snacks, the DJ, and the like. If you’d like to be on the dance committee, please sign up here
