The PFC needs you!
Just a reminder that the PFC funds many supplies and activities benefiting the students of Wells. We cannot do that without your support, and we increased our recommended donation to $1 per day, or $180 per year. We understand that this is not feasible for all families, but we do appreciate anything you may be able to do. You can donate through the “donate” button on our new website.
Wheels offers Fare Buster ride passes, which you can purchase at the Student Window or order via mail, by phone, or at several locations in the Tri-Valley. Information on these can be found here . The passes are a 10 ride sheet for $16.
The PFC has launched a new website and Facebook group, and invite you to join us there. If you know of families not receiving these, please have them go to our new website.
The PFC Wants you!
We are currently looking for a Co-Secretary and Vice President. The responsibilities of each position can be found in section 7.3 of the PFC Bylaws, here .

Have you ever done a “Color Run?” It’s an awesome and fun way to be with our friends, get showered in cornstarch-based color powder and support a great cause. Join us Sunday, October 18th at the SeeDubRun 3rd Annual Wellness Fair, 10K and 5K Color Run/Walk. Hosted by Dublin Integrity In Action, the event is held at Dublin High School and all proceeds benefit our school district Wellness and Character Development programs. Register online at Active.com.
Spooky Halloween Art Contest:
Show Wells your artistic side by entering up to two of your best pieces of art in this month’s spooky art contest. We are looking for photography and hand done art (such as drawing, painting, oils) for this year’s contest. Our Spooky judges will be all Roadrunners. The art will be posted in the Library in the beginning of November. So, even if you do not enter a piece, you can be a part of this contest by judging the art work. Please turn in all pieces by October 29th to Ms. Longyear in B205. Prizes will be awarded to the best Photograph, best hand drawn (or painted) piece and best overall. Make sure all entries are school appropriate. We cannot wait to see your spooky art!

This month is Kindness month! Leadership and Upstanders will be holding activities in the lunch pavilion starting this week to promote kindness and positivity. This includes a post-it note compliment mural, positive affirmation photos, compliment candy grams, a scavenger hunt and more fun games to spread kindness and acceptance around Wells.
