Intervention Conferences

The Wells Middle School First-Quarter Intervention Conferences will be held on October 25 and 26 in the Multi-Purpose Room and Lunch Pavilion. This year, only students who received a D or F grade on their first quarter report card are invited to the conferences. We believe that students should take an active and responsible role in determining their academic success; thus we encourage your child to accompany you and take part in these discussions.
There are 2 blocks of time that you can come and meet with teachers:
Wednesday, October 25 from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Thursday, October 26 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
When you check in you will be given your child’s report card. Report cards will only be given to students who are accompanied by their parent or guardian. For your convenience, teachers will be seated around the Multi-Purpose Room and Lunch Pavilion and we encourage you to meet with as many of them as possible. Because of the number of conferences that must take place, we ask that you please adhere to the five minutes per teacher rule. If more time is needed, teachers can schedule additional meetings or phone calls. If you are unable to attend these conferences, the report cards will be available for you to pick up in the school office beginning November 1st. Hope to see you there!
